Where can I get sailing lessons?

• You can probably arrange to get free, informal lessons with one of our members – just ask around.
• If you buy a boat from Chris Rooke, (see question # 5), he will give you lessons in the bargain.
• The University of Memphis usually has continuing education courses in the Spring and Fall; check their flyers in the newspaper and elsewhere.
• If you want something really structured, enroll in a course with:
• J-World, Newport R.I., Annapolis MD, Key West FL, and San Diego, CA, or
• Kolius Sailing School (Houston TX, 800-276-SAIL), or
• North U. Sailing Seminars
