What do I need to bring?

1. First of all - Bring a positive attitude! We're doing this for fun!
2. Bring your boat and all parts thereto (unless you have arranged to crew for someone)
3. Bring all prescribed safety equipment - 1) lifejacket, 2) wistle or horn, 3) a tow line(25'+), etc. We require that lifejackets be worn at all TASC events.
4. Bring clothes appropriate for the weather - we strongly suggest a wet or dry-suit for when the water is cold in December and March
5. Bring a sailing watch with 3-minute countdown - you may be the Race Committee today!
6. Water, sunscreen, hat, shirt.
7. On open water we sometimes use "Family Band" radios, usually set to channel 14. These are inexpensive and may be bought at places such as WallMart, Target or BassPro. A zip-loc bag will usually keep them dry.
8. Members are issued one of our racing buoys each, so one person doesn't have to carry all of them around - please remember to bring your buoy.
9. At Arkabutla and Horseshoe there is a $3-5 launch fee, so bring enough singles to pay at the ramp.
